Each shelf comes with its own knocks, splits and individual characteristics that could continue to split and crack until the wood has fully adjusted to its new environment. These are not defects, they are natural features that will simply add to the charm of these solid pieces of wood.

Our shelves are carefully made to your specification and finished with your choice of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, and a final coat of Fiddes Supreme Wax. Please note that our standard sizes listed on the websites are before planing and sanding. Therefore please allow a discrepancy off approximately 1/4″ off these measurements.

Once you have made your selection, it is important that you advise us if you need the shelf cut to a specific length, by adding a note in the ‘order notes’ section of the order form.
